Drag a box over any image, scanned document, PDF, or video stream on a webpage to instantly capture, read, and copy its text content. 🚀 Key Features: Instant Area OCR: Simply click the capture button (or press Space when not typing) and draw a box over any text on the screen to extract it. 100% Local & Private: Unlike other tools, your captures are processed entirely on your machine using Tesseract.js. No images, screenshots, or extracted texts are ever sent to external servers or cloud services. Smart Placement Panel: The result box appears contextually next to your selection for quick editing, review, and copying. High-Accuracy Scaling: Automatically upscales cropped images prior to processing to significantly improve OCR precision on small or light fonts. Draggable & Boundary-Clamped UI: Move the results window anywhere on your screen. It automatically keeps itself within the viewable workspace.
