Lens explains any word, phrase, or sentence in the context of the page you're reading — just select the text. A small card appears with a one-line explanation; expand it for the other relevant dimensions (Who / What / When / Where / Why / How). Lens shows only the dimensions that genuinely apply — a concept gets What/How/Why, a person gets Who — never six boxes of filler. Private by default: it uses Chrome's built-in on-device AI (Gemini Nano). No network requests, no accounts, no telemetry. Optional cloud mode lets you bring your own OpenRouter API key. Requires Chrome 148+ and a one-time ~4GB on-device model download.
