CF Anti-Editorial
Overview
Lock Codeforces editorials behind a smart timer. Submission ratings. Upsolve tracker.
CF Anti-Editorial: Codeforces Timer & Editorial Lock Stop peeking. Start thinking. Become a better competitive programmer. CF Anti-Editorial is a powerful Chrome extension built for Codeforces competitive programmers who want to build real problem-solving skills—not just read solutions. Most programmers plateau because they look at editorials too early. This extension removes that temptation by making it technically impossible to view the solution until you've genuinely spent time trying to solve it. Key Features 🟆 Smart Dynamic Timer: The timer automatically adjusts based on your current rating versus the problem's difficulty: ➣ ≤ 900 rated & you're 1400+: 10 min → Trivial warmup, no real challenge ➣ ≤ 1000 rated & you're 1600+: 10 min → Same — instant solve territory ➣ Problem ≥ 400 below your rating: 15 min → Very comfortable, just code it ➣ Problem ≥ 200 below your rating: 20 min → Easy, minimal thinking needed ➣ Problem below your rating: 25 min → Should be manageable ➣ Within +100 of your rating: 40 min → Your actual level — standard effort ➣ Within +200 of your rating: 45 min → Slightly challenging ➣ Within +400 of your rating: 60 min → Requires real thinking ➣ More than +400 above you: 75 min → Stretch goal — full focus needed 🟆 Editorial Lock: Tutorial and Editorial links are completely disabled and marked "Locked" while your timer runs. They unlock automatically the moment the timer hits 00:00—no page refresh needed. 🟆 Upsolve Tracker: Every problem whose editorial you unlock is automatically added to your personal To-Upsolve List. The list tracks your progress and marks problems as solved the moment you get an Accepted verdict on Codeforces. 🟆 Instant Setup: Just enter your Codeforces handle once to fetch your rating, and the extension handles the rest. Manual timer presets (10m, 15m, 20m, 30m, 45m, 60m) are also available if you prefer full control. 🟆 Live Contest Detection: The extension automatically detects live contests and skips the auto-start timer so it never interferes during your actual rated rounds. 🟆 Editorial Page Guard: Trying to cheat the system? If you open an editorial page in another tab while a timer is active, that page will be blurred out with a live countdown until the timer expires. 🟆 Dark Mode Ready: Seamlessly detects dark themes from Codeforces' built-in settings, Dark Reader, Stylus, or your OS-level dark mode with no extra configuration needed. 🟆 New Feature Added: 🟆 Submission Rating: Adds a Rating column on submission pages and user profiles for any Codeforces user. ● Why Use CF Anti-Editorial? The biggest bottleneck in competitive programming isn’t a lack of tutorials—it’s looking at them too early. The moment a problem gets difficult or uncomfortable, the temptation to peek at the editorial is overwhelming. When you read a solution without struggling first, you experience the "illusion of competence." The code makes sense, you copy-paste it or rewrite it, you get an Accepted verdict, and you move on. But your brain didn't actually build the neural pathways required to discover that solution on its own. The next time you face a similar problem in a live contest, you will likely get stuck again. CF Anti-Editorial breaks this loop by forcing you to build genuine problem-solving grit through structured discipline. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿. 𝗨𝗽𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲.
