Leif List helps you shop more sustainably without the homework. Click the Leif icon in your toolbar while you're on an Amazon product page — or on one of our partner brand sites — and Leif looks up the brand's sustainability score and shows it in a small side panel. No extra tabs. No research. Just a clear rating while you shop. HOW IT WORKS 1. Shop like you normally do, on Amazon or a partner brand's website. 2. When you want to check a product, click the Leif icon in your browser toolbar. 3. Leif reads what product you're viewing and looks it up in our sustainability database. 4. A panel appears showing the brand's score and rating. 5. Click "View Full Details" to open the full brand profile, find greener alternatives, and compare brands on leiflist.com. WHAT YOU'LL SEE • Sustainability Score — a 0-100 rating based on a brand's environmental and social practices, shown where we have verified data. • Rating tier — a quick "Great" to "Below Average" tag so you can size up a brand at a glance. • Greener Alternatives — open leiflist.com from the panel to find similar products from more responsible brands. • Save to Cart — bookmark products you're interested in to compare later. Saved items are stored only in your browser, not on our servers. WHY LEIF? Most people want to shop more sustainably but don't have time to research every brand. Leif does the digging for you, pulling from public data and company disclosures so you can make an informed choice in seconds. Shopping sustainably should be easy, not a chore. When you use Leif on a supported product page (Amazon or a partner brand site), the extension reads the product identifier and basic product details (title, brand, category) from that page and sends them to our backend services (Google Firebase, Google Cloud Functions, and Algolia) to look up the sustainability rating. We do not collect your name, email, browsing history beyond the product pages you actively check, shopping cart contents, order history, or payment information.
