GSC Toolkit

A set of tools for the Google Search Console Performance report.

GSC Toolkit adds two tools to the Performance report in Google Search Console. MOVING AVERAGE Draws a moving average over each metric line on the Performance chart. Pick a 7, 14 or 28 point window from a box that sits in the metric tile row. The window follows the chart's own granularity, so it reads as days, weeks or months. Each metric gets a "Daily line" checkbox so you can hide the raw line and keep only the average. A bar above the chart turns the overlay on and off, and can fade the daily lines so the average stands out. KEYWORD MOVERS Compares two date ranges and lists the queries that changed the most. Pick a period of 3, 5, 7, 14 or 28 days, or type your own. Compare it with the previous period or with the same period last year. The panel ranks the biggest increases and decreases for clicks, impressions, CTR and position, and shows the other three metrics next to each keyword for context. A Copy button puts the table on the clipboard as tab separated text, ready for a spreadsheet. HOW IT WORKS The extension reads the numbers already on the page. It uses no API, makes no network requests, and sends nothing to any server. Its only stored data is your control settings, kept in Chrome's own extension storage. LIMITS Search Console shows at most 1000 rows in the Queries table, so keywords beyond that are not compared. Search Console data runs about three days behind.
