Instead of letting your work disappear into meetings, matter updates, contract queues, vendor projects, and scattered notes, Legal Ops Maestro gives you a simple way to track what you are doing, map it to legal operations competencies, and build a clearer story about the value you create. What Legal Ops Maestro does: Track legal ops work from any browser tab Open the extension popup, choose a work button, and start a timer. Switch tasks when your work changes, stop when you are done, and keep a structured record without leaving your browser. Map work to the Core 12 Taxonomy Each work button maps to Core 12 legal operations categories. As you track work over time, Legal Ops Maestro builds a breakdown of where your time and effort are going across the legal ops function. Create a dashboard of your contribution The dashboard shows total hours, tracked days, recent entries, weekly activity, and your Core 12 breakdown. It helps you see patterns in your work instead of relying on memory at review time. Earn a legal ops class badge As you track enough work, Legal Ops Maestro assigns a character-style legal ops class based on your tracked activity. The badge is designed to make your legal ops strengths more memorable and shareable. Export useful records Export your tracked entries to CSV or JSON so you can use your own data in reviews, planning, reporting, resumes, or portfolio materials. Customize your work buttons Start from templates or create your own buttons. Each button can be tuned to the categories that match your real work, so the tracker reflects your role instead of forcing you into a generic productivity system. Use optional AI features with explicit consent Legal Ops Maestro includes opt-in AI-assisted features that can help generate button suggestions, badge narrative text, and career-documentation content such as resume bullets. Before anything is sent, the extension shows what will be submitted and asks for confirmation. Why install it? Because legal ops work is often hard to explain. A lot of high-value legal operations work is invisible: improving intake, reducing friction, coordinating vendors, building process, configuring tools, cleaning data, supporting lawyers, managing change, and translating business needs into legal systems. Where am I becoming more specialized? Privacy-first by design Core tracking is local. Your timers, entries, work buttons, profile fields, and settings are stored in Chrome local storage on your device. They are not sent to Legal Ops Maestro just because you track work. The extension requests only the permissions it needs: storage: saves your tracking data locally in Chrome. alarms: helps timers continue reliably across browser restarts. host permission for legalopsmaestro.com: used only for Legal Ops Maestro backend features such as sign-in and optional AI features. The extension does not request access to your browser history, bookmarks, clipboard, or third-party websites. AI features are optional. When you choose to use one, Legal Ops Maestro sends only the specific payload shown in the consent step.
