Ledger Clipper – copy web tables to Excel

Copy any web table as clean Excel or CSV with the numbers actually parsed: currencies, Dr/Cr, negatives and dates fixed.

Paste a table from your bank, an invoice or a report into Excel and nothing adds up: "₹1,23,456.78", "(450.00)", "2,000.00 Dr" and "1.234,56 €" all arrive as text. Ledger Clipper fixes the numbers before they reach your spreadsheet. HOW IT WORKS 1. Right-click any table and choose "Copy this table for Excel". Or click the toolbar icon to see every table on the page in a side panel. 2. Check the preview. Every column is marked Number, Date or Text. Click a label to change it. 3. Paste into Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. The numbers are numbers, so totals and charts work straight away. WHAT IT UNDERSTANDS • Currencies: ₹, $, €, £, ¥ and codes such as INR, USD, EUR • Indian lakh/crore grouping (1,23,456.78), European decimals (1.234,56) and spaced or apostrophe thousands • Negatives written as -12, (12), 12- or with bank Dr/Cr marks • Dates like 05/03/2026, 2026-03-05, 5 Mar 2026 or March 5, 2026, turned into ISO dates, with day/month order detected per column • Merged header cells, accessible grid layouts and plain selected text • Reference and account numbers keep their leading zeros ALSO FREE • Download CSV (comma or semicolon) with a UTF-8 marker so ₹ and € show correctly in Excel • Copy as a Markdown table for docs or AI chats • Sum selected numbers: select any numbers on a page, right-click, and see the sum, count, average, min and max PRO (ONE-TIME PURCHASE) • Download real .xlsx files with number and date formats and a frozen header row • Collection: clip tables from many pages and merge them into one sheet, with a source column • Remember column types for each website you use often PRIVATE BY DESIGN Ledger Clipper reads a page only when you click it, works entirely on your device, and sends no page data anywhere.
