Language learners: Choose the language you are learning and your native language once. The original subtitles appear on top, with your native language underneath. Read along, save useful sentences and replay lines whenever you need. 2. Viewers using a VPN: When a platform does not offer subtitles in your language, Learnable adds them using Google Translate or an AI model you configure. 🌐 Supported Platforms and AI Streaming sites: Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and HBO Max. AI options: ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek and more. ✨ Main Features • Bilingual subtitles in over 30 languages. • Uses the platform’s existing subtitle track in your language when available, instead of machine translation. • AI immersive translation translates the entire episode ahead of time to keep wording consistent across lines. You see an estimated cost per episode before translation starts. • Customize each subtitle line’s font size, color and shadow. Adjust the shared background color, opacity, corner radius, padding and line spacing. • Adjust subtitle position and width, and save a different style for each platform. • Follow along in a side-panel reader. Click any line to jump to that moment in the video. • Save sentences and export your collection as CSV. • Click a word in the original subtitles to see its dictionary entry and hear its pronunciation. • Practice listening with a blurred translation line, automatic pauses after each line and a shortcut to replay the current line. • Works in fullscreen and at any playback speed. • Automatically skips intros on Netflix, Disney+ and HBO Max. 🚀 Getting Started 1. Install Learnable, then choose the language you are learning and your native language. 2. Open a video and turn on closed captions (CC) in the player. 3. Bilingual subtitles appear automatically. Click the Learnable icon in the player controls or press E to access all other settings. ⌨️ Keyboard Shortcuts E: Open or pin the settings menu. Q: Toggle bilingual subtitles. N: Cycle through subtitle display modes. J: Toggle automatic pauses after each line. R: Replay the current line. H: Save the current line. U: Open your saved lines. Y: Open the line-by-line reader. B (tap): Switch between Google and AI translation. B (hold): Start AI immersive translation. A: Cancel the AI auto-translation countdown.
