Leafy is a collaborative web annotation extension. Highlight text or pick any element on any webpage, leave a comment, and share it with your team. Mentions, replies, threads, and notifications — all anchored to the exact place on the page. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Annotate any text or element on any website • Create private gardens (teams) and invite up to 5 members each • Reply in threads and @mention teammates • Get notified when someone mentions you, with one-click jump to the comment • Resolve threads when they're done • Leave page-wide notes in addition to anchored annotations • Rich text in comments: bold, italic, strikethrough, code, and links • Search and browse every annotation across your team, filtered by site or keyword • Automatic cross-device sync — sign in once, your gardens follow you • Annotations work on single-page apps (Twitter, Reddit, Notion docs, etc.) — they reappear after the page finishes loading • Hide Leafy on sites where you don't need it • Choose where markers appear: on the side of the viewport or right next to the annotated element • Light, dark, and system-matched themes — switch in Settings • Right-click selected text to annotate, or press Cmd+Shift+L (Alt+Shift+L on Windows) FREE FOR PERSONAL AND SMALL-TEAM USE Leafy is free. You can create up to 3 gardens with up to 5 members each, with unlimited annotations. If you need more, reach out through the in-app Help & Feedback form. WHY LEAFY NEEDS ACCESS TO ALL WEBSITES Leafy is a universal annotator, so the extension must run on any page you choose to annotate. It does NOT read or transmit page contents passively. Page text is captured only when you explicitly create an annotation, and only for the specific element you select. Leafy never reads your browsing history, form inputs, passwords, or other tabs.
