Leaf is a fast, simple notepad for Chrome. Click the leaf in your toolbar or open it in the side panel, write a quick note, and carry on with your day. No account, no setup, no clutter. More than 35,000 people use Leaf every week for to-do lists, checklists, ideas, links and meeting notes. Formats as you type: Type [ ] for a checklist, a dash for a list or # for a heading, and Leaf formats it on the spot. It understands markdown, so the symbols stay out of sight and the note reads clean. Bold, italic, links and numbered lists are a click away. Right beside your work: Keep Leaf in Chrome's side panel, next to whatever you're reading, writing or shopping for. Close it mid sentence and your words are waiting when you come back. Give a note a coloured label, drag notes into any order, and press Ctrl+K to find anything in a moment. Right click a note to duplicate it, copy it or move it to the top, and go full screen when a note needs room. Anything you delete stays in Recently deleted for 30 days. Watch your notes grow into a tree: Switch to Tree view and your notepad becomes a living tree. Every note is a leaf, coloured by its label, the oldest near the trunk and the newest at the tips. Press play to watch months of thinking grow in. No two trees grow alike. Fast at any size: Leaf opens in an instant and stays smooth with thousands of notes, even on older computers.
