Overview
Create short-lived one-time links from selected text or pasted notes. Open across devices with a link or QR code.
ClipShare Snap helps you create one-time private text links from the browser. Use it when you need to send a temporary password, one-time code, private note, setup instruction, or short-lived message without leaving it in a long chat history. Core features: - Create a Snap from pasted text in the popup. - Create a Snap from selected text on a webpage. - Copy the generated one-time link. - Show a QR code for opening the link on another device. - Keep recent link history locally without saving the full message text. - Open the full ClipShare Snap web version when you need the larger page. How it works: 1. Paste text in the popup or select text on a webpage. 2. Create a one-time Snap link. 3. Send the link or let another device scan the QR code. 4. The message is designed to be opened once. After opening, it can be viewed for 60 seconds. If nobody opens it, the link expires after 10 minutes. Important safety notes: ClipShare Snap reduces exposure time, but it is not absolute security. A recipient can still screenshot, photograph, copy, record, or forward what they see. Do not use Snap for seed phrases, private keys, long-term passwords, master keys, or irreplaceable secrets. Use it only for temporary, replaceable, short-lived information.
