**XOGO Player Device Companion** Adds device-level capabilities to the XOGO digital signage player on managed ChromeOS devices. XOGO is a digital signage platform used to run screens in retail stores, offices, restaurants, hospitals, and other public spaces. On ChromeOS, the XOGO player runs as a kiosk web app. Some things a screen needs cannot be done by a web app alone — this companion extension provides them. WHAT IT ADDS ■ Device identification Supplies the device's hardware serial number to the XOGO player, so every screen appears reliably in the XOGO management console. Administrators can tell one screen from another without maintaining a separate list. ■ Scheduled restarts Digital signage runs unattended for weeks or months. Over that time a device can accumulate problems a page refresh will not clear — memory that is never released, a stalled graphics driver, a network connection that has quietly failed. This extension lets an administrator schedule a nightly device restart from the XOGO console, so screens recover on their own instead of needing someone on site.
