)Overview
Balances any audio playing in your active browser tab, from videos and music to podcasts, live streams, games, and calls.
Keep loud and quiet audio at a more comfortable level without constantly reaching for the volume control. Audify works with the sound playing in your active browser tab. It automatically softens unexpectedly loud moments, brings quiet voices forward, and protects against harsh peaks while preserving natural sound. USE AUDIFY WITH • Videos and streaming services • Music and internet radio • Podcasts and spoken content • Live streams • Browser games • Voices you hear in browser calls THREE SIMPLE LISTENING STYLES Low keeps audio quieter and controlled for nighttime listening. Normal balances loud and quiet moments while keeping the original sound natural. Boost raises overall volume when dialogue or other content is still too quiet. You can change styles at any time from the Audify popup. No audio knowledge or technical setup is required. Advanced controls are also available when you want to customize and save each listening style. DESIGNED FOR COMFORTABLE LISTENING • Perceptual loudness balancing responds to how audio is actually heard. • Gradual adjustments help voices stay natural. • Peak protection reduces clipping and harsh volume spikes. • Pause detection prevents the first word after a quiet moment from suddenly becoming too loud. • Clear status labels show what Audify is doing without technical measurements. FAST CONTROLS Pin Audify to your browser toolbar for quick access. You can also configure optional keyboard shortcuts to open Audify or turn it on and off directly. Audify works on one tab at a time. Opening it on another tab moves audio processing to that tab. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Chrome may display “This tab's content is being shared” while Audify is active. Chrome shows this message whenever an extension accesses tab audio. Audify uses only the audio playing in the active tab. It does not capture your screen or video, does not record audio, and does not upload audio anywhere. Audio processing happens locally in your browser and stops when you turn Audify off. Feedback is sent only when you choose to submit the feedback form.
