Overview

Snooze a tab: it reopens on time, where you stopped reading. Manage open tabs, tab groups, saved windows, bookmarks. No account.

Close tabs without losing them. Snooze a tab and close it. At the time you chose, Latr reopens that exact page on its own, scrolled to the line you stopped reading. One keystroke saves it (Alt+Shift+Y), and you can type the time the way you would say it: "tomorrow 9am", "friday", "in 2 hours". Latr is also where the rest of your tabs go: every open tab in one list, tab groups that sort themselves, whole windows saved with their groups, and a library for pages that do not need a time. There is no account, and your tabs never leave your device. SNOOZE A TAB, GET THE PAGE BACK ON TIME • Four ways to save: the toolbar button, Alt+Shift+Y, right-click a date on any page ("Remind me about this tab"), or type "rem" and a time in the address bar. • The tab comes back by itself at the time you set, even if you miss the notification. A long article comes back where you stopped. • Seven snooze lengths, from 15 minutes to this weekend. Repeats: daily, weekdays, weekly, monthly, "the third Thursday", the last working day of the month, or every N days. • Quiet hours and deep work hold notifications and deliver them afterwards; nothing is dropped. If the computer was asleep, the reminder arrives when the browser opens and says it is late. • Send any reminder to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar (.ics), so it reaches your phone too. EVERY OPEN TAB IN ONE LIST • Every tab in every window, in one searchable list. Type to jump to a tab. • Move tabs between windows, or merge two windows into one. • Duplicate tabs are marked. Duplicate prevention can close a copy you open from a link and take you to the one you had (off until you turn it on; one click brings it back). • Sleep the tabs you are not using to free memory, put two tabs side by side, or wrap up the day: every window saved and closed, back in the morning. • An optional tab limit opens new tabs in a new window. It never closes anything. TAB GROUPS THAT SORT THEMSELVES • Group open tabs by site or by kind; collapse, expand, move, bookmark or close a whole group. • Grouping rules put a page into a named group as it opens: github.com joins "Code". Tabs you grouped yourself and pinned tabs are never moved. • Remind me about a group: it closes and comes back at the time you chose, as a group. SAVE A WHOLE WINDOW • Save a window with its tab groups, their names and colours, and give it a name. It restores as a window, not as a pile of tabs in the one you are using. • Autosave keeps the last few windows, and anything you named is kept for good. Latr can also save a window as you close it. A LIBRARY FOR PAGES WITHOUT A TIME • Keep a page with no date. File it in folders and subfolders, tag it, search it. • Import a bookmark folder, or paste a list of links and keep their titles. Export to bookmarks, Markdown, CSV or JSON. • Give a kept page a time and it becomes a reminder. SHARE A SET OF TABS AS ONE LINK Send a reminder, a saved session or a library selection as one link. The pages travel inside the link itself: no account on either side, and nothing is uploaded. Or send a page to your phone as a QR code. ALSO IN THE BOX A month calendar, a Ctrl+K command palette, templates, per-site rules, colour tags, saved views, bulk actions, undo on everything destructive, a keyboard layer (j/k, x, s, /), page thumbnails, and an optional desk pet whose face follows your queue. The interface and the date parser speak nine languages. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account, no login, no analytics, no telemetry. A free install makes no network requests. Reminders live in your browser's own storage; turn on sync and they ride your browser's own sync, not a server of ours. A copy of everything is taken before every update. The install asks for no access to your browsing history or to the sites you visit. Reading your other tabs, bookmarks and tab groups is optional, and is asked for only by the feature that needs it. FREE, AND WHAT PRO ADDS Latr is free, and the free version is the whole product: every way to save, snooze, repeat, restore, organise and share, with no cap on reminders, windows or folders. Latr Pro is a one-time $19 purchase for themes, notification sounds, escalation for reminders nobody answers, your own notification wording and snooze times, more templates, saved views and rules, and a few power features. Nothing that makes a reminder fire is behind Pro, and a lapsed licence cannot cost you a notification. HONEST LIMITS • Reminders fire while the browser is running. If it was closed, the reminder arrives when you next open it and says it was late. Use the calendar handoff for anything that cannot slip. • There is no mobile app: mobile browsers have no extensions. • Sync carries reminders, folders, tags and settings, not saved windows or page pictures; those travel in a backup file. • Chrome allows two buttons on a notification, so snooze offers two of the seven lengths; you choose which two. Chrome 116 or newer. Website: https://latr.page Support: https://latr.page/support Privacy: https://latr.page/privacy
