Too many tabs open? Tab8 saves them into sessions you can organise and bring back later. Save a single tab, a window or every window. No account is needed. SAVE YOUR WAY - Close saved tabs or keep them open, with a setting for pinned tabs - Save into a new session or add tabs to an existing session - Choose a folder, skip exact duplicate URLs and exclude sites you want to keep open - Use keyboard shortcuts or enable optional right-click saving for pages and links FIND AND ORGANISE - Group sessions into named folders - Add titles, notes, favourites and tags to sessions and saved links - Search everything you have saved, including your notes and tags - Preview duplicate links before removing selected copies - Select sessions or links to copy, move, combine or delete, with Undo for destructive changes - Use light or dark themes BRING TABS BACK - Restore a whole session or a single saved link - Open in the current window, a new window or an incognito window with permission - Keep tab groups and pinned-tab details - Saved copies stay unless you choose to remove them after restoring IMPORT AND EXPORT - Bring in tabs saved by other tab managers, a bookmarks file or a spreadsheet, with a preview before anything is added - Imports add new sessions and never overwrite what you already have - Export everything any time as a backup file, a spreadsheet or bookmarks, with or without an account OPTIONAL SYNC Sign in with an emailed code to sync saved sessions across computers. Tab8 asks before adding an existing local library to an account. Without an account, saved data stays on your computer. UPDATE RECOVERY Version 1.1.0 keeps an automatic local recovery copy when upgrading an existing installation. Download its original sessions from Settings > Your data if needed. Uninstalling or deleting all local data removes that copy, so export a separate backup if you want to keep one. No ads, analytics or tracking.
