Web Clipper for Google Drive™
Overview
Handy web clipper for Google Drive: save selected text from any page to Google Docs with the page link and date. Save to Drive fast.
📎 Collecting quotes, research and ideas from the web? Web Clipper for Google Drive™ saves the text you select on any page into your own document, together with the page title, a clickable source link and the date. 🚀 How it works 1) Select text on any website. 2) Right-click and choose Save to Google Drive. 3) The first time, sign in and allow access. A document named Web Clips is created for you. That is all. Each clip is added to the end of the document, with the paragraphs kept as they were on the page. ✨ What you get 📄 Clips go into regular Docs files that you can search, edit and share. 🔗 A source link and date under every clip. 📚 Separate documents for different topics, created right from the popup. ⭐ A default document, so one right-click is enough. 🔒 Private by design The extension talks to the official APIs directly. Your clips travel from your browser to your own account, and nothing passes through our servers, because there are none. It asks only for access to the documents it creates, so it cannot read or change your other files. Google Drive is a trademark of Google LLC. This extension is an independent product.
