Overview
Split any image on the web into editable, named layers with AI. Right-click an image, or drop one into the side panel.
LayerGrab splits a flat image into separate, named layers with AI, right in Chrome's side panel. Found a poster, a banner or an AI image and need just one part of it? Right-click the image and choose "Split this image into layers". About a minute later every element (text, products, graphics) is on its own transparent layer, and the background behind them is filled in. What you can do • Right-click any image on a web page to split it, or drop, paste or upload one in the side panel • Use the visible part of the current tab • See the result rebuilt from its layers; click a layer to find it, hide layers to see what is behind • Copy one layer and paste it into Figma, Canva, Photoshop or a document • Download one layer, or all of them as transparent PNG files • Tell it what to separate, e.g. "only the headline and the product" Your LayerGrab account The extension uses the same account and credits as layergrab.com and the Photoshop, Figma and Sketch plugins. Click "Log in with Google", choose your Google account in the tab that opens and click Approve. New accounts in supported regions get free credits to try it; plans and credit packs are on layergrab.com/pricing. Good to know • Layers are images, not editable text or vectors. • Cast shadows are not kept as separate layers. • For a layered PSD or a ZIP of all layers, open the split under Usage on layergrab.com. Privacy: the extension only reads the image you choose, stores its connection key locally, and has no ads or analytics. https://layergrab.com/privacy
