Overview
Adds Steam price, player activity, deal, and launch-friction signals directly to supported Steam game pages.
LaunchScan helps you make faster buy-or-wait decisions on supported Steam game pages. It adds a compact, collapsible sidebar directly to Steam game pages with practical purchase signals: • Verdict — Buy Now, Wait for Sale, or Avoid for Now based on available signals. • Steam page price — see the price detected directly from the current Steam page. • External deal context — compare with the best available external deal when provider data is available. • Historical low — shown when available from external provider data. • Game Health — review player activity and player rating before buying. • Launch Friction — spot store-page notes such as DRM, third-party launcher/account requirements, EULA, mature content, VR requirements, and in-app purchases. • Local tracking — save up to 2 tracked games locally in your browser. LaunchScan is designed to be transparent by default: • No account required. • No cloud sync. • Tracked games are stored locally in your browser. • No speculative future-sale, patch, or news predictions. • External store links may be affiliate links, but affiliate relationships do not control the verdict. LaunchScan currently supports selected Steam game pages and is built for Steam purchase checks. LaunchScan is not affiliated with Steam, Valve, CheapShark, GameBillet, Fanatical, GreenManGaming, or any other store.
