LaTeX Islands makes technical ChatGPT conversations easier to read and reuse. When a reply contains supported diagram code, the extension renders it inline. Zoom and drag to inspect the drawing, open the editor to adjust its source, or download it as PNG or SVG. The bundled TeX engine compiles locally on your device, with no external compilation service. It prepares while ChatGPT writes and renders the diagram when the code block is ready. Export the open conversation as PDF, Markdown, plain text or a complete JSON archive. Choose individual messages, answers only or prompts only, then preview the result. A button below each reply also lets you save that reply with its optional prompt. PDF captures the conversation's rendered equations, tables, code, images and diagrams. The extension scrolls the page to load earlier messages and prepares a clean copy for the browser's print dialog. Markdown and text preserve code and equations as source; the complete JSON archive keeps the retrieved data without filtering. Attachment files are not downloaded. You control when an export starts. Markdown, text and JSON retrieve the conversation from ChatGPT using your existing session and same-origin requests. PDF uses the rendered page; scrolling can trigger ChatGPT's normal loading requests. Export files are prepared locally. Conversation data is not sent to the developer, and there is no advertising or analytics. Follow ChatGPT's theme or choose light, dark or system appearance.
