Later — Close now, reopen later
Overview
Save a tab, close it, and reopen it when you are ready.
A little less open. A little more focus. Later saves the tab you’re viewing, closes it, and keeps the page on your shelf until you’re ready to reopen it. HOW IT WORKS • Open Later on a webpage. • Click “Save & close tab.” • Reopen the page from your shelf whenever you need it. YOUR SHELF • Keep up to 500 saved pages. • Reopen individual pages without removing them from your shelf. • Open up to 20 of your newest saved pages at once. • Remove individual items or clear your shelf with confirmation. LOCAL BY DESIGN No account. No cloud sync. No analytics. Your saved page titles, URLs, and save times stay in this browser profile. Later does not send your shelf to a server. You can also save and close a tab using the keyboard shortcut. Configure it through your browser’s extension shortcuts page. PLEASE NOTE Later saves page links—not offline copies, form entries, or a page’s exact session state. Reopening is manual; this version does not include scheduled reminders or automatic reopening. Pinned tabs, private-session tabs, internal browser pages, and local files are not saved. Unpin a tab before saving it. Saved links remain until you remove them. Uninstalling Later removes its locally stored shelf. Close now. Reopen later.
