Tired of guessing whether you used GitHub, Google, SSO, or a password last time? Last Sign-in remembers the type of sign-in method you chose on each website and shows a small LAST USED (or LAST SELECTED) label next to that option when you return. Please note: This is not a password manager like 1Password or LastPass. It does not save passwords, automatically collect email addresses, or track login details without your permission. And it will start to work from when you install and log in to the page; it will not auto-grab old sites where you have already logged in. But if you log out and log back in, it will save if you allow it. The extension helps you remember which login method you used for a website, such as Google, GitHub, email, or another option. It will try to detect the login method, but it will ask for your permission before saving it. Automatic detection may not work on every website. Login pages use different code, and many sites change their code often. Some websites, especially payment services and sites with strict login security, may also block extensions from checking their login pages. No third-party extension can detect every login method with 100% accuracy. For these cases, you can use manual mode. You can manually add the login method and email address you used. This information is stored locally on your device. The extension does not collect or save your email address automatically. Think of this extension as a small notebook with helpful login reminders. For example, you may not visit Product Hunt regularly. When you return after a long time, it can be difficult to remember which login method or email address you used. Instead of searching through your inbox, you can check the reminder you previously saved. Open a sign-in page 2. Click the extension → Enable on this site 3. Sign in as usual — we try to mark that method next time 4. If auto-detect can’t pin icon-only buttons, save the method manually (optional name/email reminder label) Bonus: if auto-detect fails, you will get a toast notice, and you can do the manual once. Also, for the auto detection method, you have to confirm whether it works or not, and it's a process for safety and security, a one-time hassle, no pain later. Also, you can edit later if you need to add anything or change the method.
