Lasso
Overview
Point at anything on a live site and file a ticket with a screenshot, console errors and page details. Reviewers need no account.
Lasso turns "something's off on this page" into a ticket your developers can act on, without anyone writing up a bug report. Click "Lasso a bug", click the element that's wrong, type what you noticed, and press Enter. Lasso files the ticket on your team's board with everything a developer needs: • A screenshot of the page and a close-up of the element you picked • The exact element, so the pin finds it again even after the page changes • Console errors and failed network requests from the page • The URL, browser, screen size, color scheme, language and time zone Pins stay on the page. Come back later and every comment is right where it was left. Click a pin to read it, or jump from the ticket in Lasso straight back to the element on the live site. Made for client reviews Send a reviewer link. Your client opens it, clicks "Start reviewing", and points at what they want changed. No account, no sign-up, no tutorial. Stays out of the way Lasso draws in its own isolated layer, so it never changes your site's layout or styles, and it only runs on sites you turn it on for. Switch it off per site from the side rail at any time. Works with your agents Tickets land on your Lasso board, where your team — or your own coding agent through Lasso's MCP server and CLI — can pick them up. Lasso itself runs no AI models on your pages. Single purpose Capture visual feedback on a web page as a ticket for the team that builds it. Permission justifications activeTab: to start Lasso on the page you're looking at when you click "Start reviewing" in the popup, without access to any other tab. scripting: to add the Lasso overlay to that page, and (only on pages where Lasso is on) to read the page's console errors and failed requests into the ticket. tabs: to take the screenshot attached to a ticket, to open a ticket's page from the Lasso app, and to switch Lasso back on as you move between pages of a site you've turned it on for. storage: to remember which sites Lasso is on for and the reviewer link you arrived with. Host permission www.lasso.tools: to send tickets to your Lasso workspace using your existing sign-in there. Optional host access (asked per site): requested only when you choose to keep Lasso on for a site, so it can return when you open another page there. Never requested up front. Remote code: none. All code ships in the package. Data use When you file a ticket, Lasso sends to your Lasso workspace only: your comment, the screenshots, the element's location on the page, the page URL and title, browser and display details, and console messages and failed request URLs (no request bodies, cookies or headers) from that page. Console and network capture runs only on sites where you've turned Lasso on. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
