Then take it further in a genuine fake stock market — five stocks with real price correlation (some move together, one's a safe-haven hedge that tends to move opposite the rest), live sparkline charts with your cost-basis and pending-order lines drawn right on them, and actual limit orders that fill automatically whether the panel's open or not. Everything keeps ticking in the background — passive income and the market both advance on a schedule even with the panel closed, so you come back to real progress.
