Connects LanMate to Chrome or Edge for authorized tab tasks and keeps the browser available in the background.

LanMate Support connects Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to the LanBridge desktop client on the same computer. In tasks you initiate and authorize, it helps LanMate locate browser tabs, read page text and tables, fill forms, click controls and verify downloads. Install and run the supported LanBridge desktop client and sign in before using LanMate. Windows x64 and Apple silicon Mac downloads are available from the LanBridge website; check the website for current system requirements. The extension does not provide an AI service on its own. AI availability, usage limits and any charges depend on your LanBridge account, selected plan or model setup. When an online model is used, the client may send the page content, images and task context needed for your request to LanBridge and your selected model provider, as described in the privacy policy. On Windows, background permission allows the browser to remain available without an open window and maintain its local LanBridge connection, subject to browser background settings and organization policies. Explicitly quitting the browser or disabling the extension stops the connection. Background operation does not authorize webpage reading or actions. You can stop tasks in LanBridge or disable or remove the extension. Stopping does not undo actions that have already happened or automatically delete saved task records.
