Language Tutor helps you grow your vocabulary while you browse — no extra effort required. This extension automatically highlights words on a page (you choose the frequency) and shows quick translations using LibreTranslate, an open-source translation service. It’s designed to make passive language learning easy and seamless. ✨ Features Hover-translate: Hover over highlighted words to see instant translations. Configurable frequency: Decide how often words are highlighted (every 10th, 20th, 50th word, etc.). Multiple languages: Translate from Auto Detect into your target language. Custom API support: Point the extension at your own LibreTranslate server if you prefer. Per-site or all-sites enable: Choose whether Language Tutor runs everywhere or just on sites you select. Respect for privacy: Text is only sent to the translation API you configure, and no data is stored. 🔒 Privacy Language Tutor only processes the words it highlights for translation.
