Language Sticker – On-screen Translator
Overview
BETA (testing phase). Translates site menus and buttons right on your screen, on your computer. Nothing is sent unless you choose.
Language Sticker (LS) — BETA, testing phase. LS translates the menus, buttons and headings of the sites you visit, right on your screen — like a clear sticker on top of the page. It only works on the part of the page you can see, so it stays light and fast. 🌱 Green by design: LS translates only what you see on screen, not the whole page — less work for your computer, less energy. Privacy first: - Translation happens on your computer. - Nothing is sent unless you choose to send feedback. - You decide which sites LS works on. No access to all sites is requested up front. - It is off by default on email, messaging and banking sites. Languages: Hebrew, English, Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Hindi and Amharic — more are coming. The dictionary grows with every version. This is a test version, and you can help: see a wrong or unclear translation? Send feedback right from the sticker — the fix may go into the next version. Open source (MPL 2.0). "Language Sticker" and "LS" are the names of the official version.
