Overview
Save selected text to LangCapture.
LangCapture helps you turn real workplace English into a reusable sentence library. When you see a useful phrase in GitHub, Slack, Jira, docs, email, or any webpage, select it and save it to your LangCapture account. The saved sentence keeps the original text, a clear translation, and optional audio for review. What you can do: - Save selected text from any webpage with the right-click menu or keyboard shortcut. - Build a personal bilingual sentence library from real work examples. - Review saved phrases with translation and on-demand audio in LangCapture. - Translate visible page text inline for quick reading, then toggle it off. - Choose your immersive translation target language in the extension popup. Best for: - Software engineers working with English PRs, docs, tickets, and async updates. - Bilingual teams that want to reuse clearer workplace phrases. - Language learners who prefer real sentences over memorized templates. Setup: 1. Create or sign in to your LangCapture account. 2. Generate an API token from LangCapture settings. 3. Paste the token into the extension popup. 4. Select text on any webpage and choose "Save to LangCapture". Privacy note: The extension sends only the text you choose to save or the page text you choose to translate. Your API token is stored in Chrome sync storage. LangCapture does not sell your data.
