Laneway
Overview
Send your browser downloads to Laneway for faster, resumable downloads.
Laneway sends your downloads to the Laneway download manager for Windows, which splits each file into several parts and downloads them at the same time — often much faster than the browser alone. Paused or failed downloads pick up where they stopped. What the extension does: • Catches downloads automatically and hands them to Laneway • Catches clicks on links to videos, music, archives and installers • Right-click any link → "Download with Laneway" • "This page" tab: find every file on a page and download them all at once, filtered by type • Live progress, pause and resume from the toolbar • Notification when a download finishes • Power button to switch catching off, and "Skip this site" for sites you'd rather leave alone Requires the free Laneway app for Windows: https://github.com/Wavykid97/fastdl/releases/latest Everything stays on your computer. The extension only talks to the Laneway app on the same PC; nothing is sent to the developer or anyone else.
