It does not request access to your browsing history GOOD TO KNOW Browsers require a single click somewhere on a page before audio can be boosted above 100%. That is a browser rule, not a bug. A few internal browser pages and some cross-origin streams cannot be boosted, but lowering and muting still work everywhere. Volume Controller is free and ad-free.
