Overview

Checks any page the way Google and a stranger see it: title, headline, business details, phone links and more, in plain English.

Elevated Page Check reads the web page you are on the way a stranger and a search engine see it, and tells you in plain English what to fix. Built for local business owners and the people who help them: roofers, plumbers, dealers, med spas, movers, anyone whose website is supposed to make the phone ring. No SEO jargon, no account, no data sent anywhere. HOW IT WORKS Open any page of your site (or a competitor's) and click the Page Check icon. In a second or two you get a short report. Every result is marked Fix, Look or Good. Click one to see why it matters and exactly what to do. EIGHT TABS, ONE CLICK The results are grouped into tabs so you can go straight to what you came for: - Overview: every Fix and Look on the page, in order of importance - Headings: the outline of the page the way a search engine reads it - Links: internal and external links, with the vague "click here" ones flagged - Images: thumbnails of the page's own photos beside their file names and alt text - Schema: the business details and FAQ markup the page sends to search engines - Local: your business card compared with the page, and the NAP check for listings - Social: how the link looks when someone posts it on Facebook or sends it in a text - Quick Links: the Google tools for this page (Rich Results Test, PageSpeed, Facebook Sharing Debugger) one click away NAP CHECK FOR YOUR LISTINGS Save your business name, address, phone and website once. Then open any of your listings (Yelp, Facebook, BBB, Angi, a chamber directory, any citation site) and switch to NAP check. It shows, line by line, whether the listing matches your card: - Business name, including "and" vs "&" and a missing LLC - Phone, and which wrong number the listing shows instead - Street address, with St vs Street style differences allowed and a missing suite flagged - Town, state and ZIP - A link to your website On directory sites it opens on the NAP check by itself. "Copy my NAP" puts your exact details on the clipboard, ready to paste into the listing's edit form. WHAT IT CHECKS Found: can a search engine tell what the page is? - Page title and meta description: missing, too short, too long, or missing your town - Main headline (H1): missing, a picture instead of text, more than one, or a greeting like "Welcome" - Heading outline: skipped levels - Business details (LocalBusiness schema): present, and which fields are missing - Broken schema code that search engines silently ignore - FAQ markup that does not match what visitors can read - Vague link text like "click here", and pages with too few internal links Same business everywhere - Save your business card once. Every page you check is compared against it. - Schema phone vs. the number your call button dials Contacted: can a ready customer reach you? - Phone numbers shown as text you cannot tap - Call buttons that show one number and dial another - Forms, and forms too long to finish on a phone Trusted - Photos with no alt text or camera file names like IMG_4471.jpg, shown as thumbnails so you know which one - First screen: is there a headline, a tap-to-call number and a next step before scrolling? Shared: does the link look right when someone posts it? - Share preview: the title, description and picture Facebook and text messages show for this page - Missing share picture or share text, with the exact tags to add Basics - noindex settings that hide the page from Google - Canonical tags pointing at another address - Missing mobile viewport It also says plainly what one page cannot show you: where you rank on the map, whether your form reaches a person, and every listing on the web at once (use the NAP check on each one). COPY THE REPORT "Copy results" puts the whole report on your clipboard, ready to paste into an email to whoever maintains your website. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Reads the page only when you click the icon - Makes no network requests and sends nothing to anyone - Your business card stays in your browser - No analytics, no ads, no account Every result links to a free how-to guide at elevatedideas.com/page-check.
