Overview

Find the thing you remember seeing (charts, code, products, colors) instead of just URLs.

Ever remember seeing a chart, code snippet, or comparison table yesterday, but can’t find it in your standard text browsing history? Visual Browser Memory indexes the web the way your human brain remembers: visually. Instead of relying solely on exact URLs or page titles, Visual Browser Memory observes structural visual cues on pages you browse: - Interactive Data Charts & Visual Graphs (canvas, SVG charts, plots) - Data Tables & Comparison Grids (tables, pricing sheets) - Syntax-Highlighted Code Snippets (code blocks, pre elements) - Long-form Read Articles & Deep Dwells Key Features: 1. In-Page Spotlight HUD (Cmd+Shift+K or Alt+Shift+K): Summon a sleek search overlay on any active tab. Type queries like "chart", "stripe table", or "fastapi code" to jump directly back to that page in milliseconds. 2. Visual Memory Side Panel: Keep your visual timeline open on the right edge of your browser. Filter instantly by category chips: Bookmarks, Charts, Tables, Code, or Articles. 3. Granular Memory Control & Permanent Organization: - Delete individual visual memories with one click. - Multi-select and "Select All" with one-click batch deletion. - Star (⭐) favorite memories to pin them in your Bookmarks filter. - Drag-and-drop or use up/down arrows to reorganize your memories—custom ordering persists permanently across browser restarts. 4. Usage & Open Frequency Stats: Switch to the built-in Stats tab to track an open frequency leaderboard showing which visual memories you consult most often, total memories indexed, and total recall opens. 5. 100% Private & On-Device: Zero telemetry. Zero remote servers. Zero external data syncing. All visual cue snapshots live strictly on your device in Chrome local storage. Clear your entire memory database with a single click at any time. How To Use: - Browse normally. Visual Browser Memory automatically indexes structural visual markers locally. - Press Cmd+Shift+K (or Alt+Shift+K) anywhere to search what you saw. - Click the extension icon or press Alt+Shift+V to open the Side Panel gallery. - Drag cards to reorganize, star favorites, or inspect your open frequency leaderboard.
