Foxy Ad Shield

Blocks advertising popups and click traps, with independent local video enhancement on supported streaming pages.

Foxy Ad Shield helps reduce unwanted advertising and distractions while you browse and watch videos. The best site-specific ad protection tool for your favorite video streaming sites. GENERAL AD PROTECTION Block known advertising requests, hide common ad banners and overlays, and reduce unwanted popup tabs and invisible click traps across websites. DEDICATED STREAMING PROTECTION Independent modules provide additional protection for supported streaming sites: • YouTube — reduces player ads and sponsored ad placements in supported video lists. • Ole — targets unwanted popups, deceptive click areas, and advertising banners. • YFSP — reduces supported player ad interruptions, pause-screen ads, and distracting page elements. SIMPLE, INDEPENDENT CONTROLS Turn individual protection modules on or off from the popup. Use the master switch to pause all protection while keeping your preferences. OPTIONAL LOCAL VIDEO ENHANCEMENT Sharpen and upscale available video on supported players using your computer’s GPU. Enhancement is enabled by default after you agree to local protection and can be switched off separately if playback stutters or your computer slows down. It does not unlock paid content or request higher-quality streams. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Protection runs locally on your device. No account is required, and the extension does not upload your protection data, video frames, or statistics. Settings and aggregate lifetime totals are stored locally. You can clear lifetime totals or withdraw consent through Privacy controls. GETTING STARTED Open Foxy Ad Shield, review the privacy disclosure, and select “Agree and enable protection.” Choose your protection modules, then reload pages that were already open. Ad coverage varies by website, browser settings, and changes made by streaming services. Some ads may remain. Video enhancement is available only on supported players and devices. Foxy Ad Shield is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, YouTube, or the other websites it supports.
