ReelRecs: Where to Watch Movies & TV

Hover over movie and TV titles on sites you enable. Check US streaming options, watch trailers and save ideas for later.

A movie catches your eye while you’re reading. Find where to watch it with ReelRecs. Enable title highlights on a site you read. ReelRecs adds a dotted underline to recognized movies and shows in readable articles. Hover for a quick preview, then open details in a side panel beside the page. In the panel, you can: • Confirm the right movie or series by its name, year and format. • Check reported US subscription, free, ad-supported, rental and purchase options. • Play an available trailer after pressing Play. • Save a title on this browser for another night. • Mark the streaming services you use to spot relevant subscription offers. Already know the title? Type it into the panel, or select its name on a webpage and use “Find where to watch with ReelRecs” in the right-click menu. Manual search works without enabling site highlights. Free. No ReelRecs account required. Desktop Chrome 140 or newer, with US viewing options in this first release. YOUR CHOICE OF SITES Highlights are off by default. Allow each site from Settings, and turn it off whenever you like. Titles are matched locally in article and main-content areas; forms and editors are skipped. Some names or page layouts will need manual search. Existing article links retain their original destination. CLEAR VIEWING OPTIONS ReelRecs separates subscriptions from rentals and purchases and shows when an offer was reported. A provider homepage is labeled “Open service,” with the title to search for. Confirm the current plan, price, country and available seasons at the provider. Full movies and episodes play on their services. SIMPLE DATA CONTROLS Saved titles and preferences stay in this Chrome profile. Article text and page addresses are not sent to ReelRecs. A manual lookup sends your submitted title; a hover sends its catalog ID and US country. The extension has no usage analytics or account connection. Trailers and artwork load from their disclosed providers. Settings lets you clear local data and site access. Find setup, help and privacy details at https://reelrecs.com/extension/. For personal picks based on your ratings and choosing with friends, the ReelRecs app is available separately on iPhone and Android. The extension works on its own; mobile app installation is optional. Extension saves do not sync with the app in this release.
