KU Banner Helper

Preview your KU Banner schedules in KU Planner using your existing university sign-in.

Bring your Khalifa University Banner schedules into KU Planner without copying course details by hand. KU Banner Helper reads the schedules available to your signed-in Banner account for a semester range you choose. It opens Banner in a background tab, shows connection progress, checks each selected semester, and returns a schedule preview to KU Planner. HOW TO USE IT 1. Install the helper in the same browser profile you use for Banner. 2. Open KU Planner and choose Banner records, then Open Banner helper. 3. Allow access to the KU Banner website when your browser asks. If needed, complete KU sign-in or MFA yourself in the Banner tab. 4. Choose a start semester and an end semester, then select Read schedules. Choose the same semester twice to read one semester. 5. Return to Planner and review the results. To retain one semester, confirm that it is your account and current semester, then choose Use as current semester. WHAT YOU CAN SEE - Course codes, titles, sections and credits. - Registration status and campus information supplied by Banner. - Meeting days, times, teaching dates and rooms, including separate course components. - Empty semesters and clear errors when Banner cannot return a complete result. YOUR CONTROL AND DATA The helper transfers schedule information only to the connected KU Planner tab. It does not export passwords, session cookies, sign-in tokens, grades or instructor contact details. A temporary hash of the displayed Banner name helps detect account changes; it does not verify your identity. Schedules are previewed first. If you explicitly choose Use as current semester in Planner, that semester is saved in this browser's website storage. That saved copy is separate from planning drafts and is not automatically uploaded to an account or shared with teams. Remove it using Remove current semester copy in Planner. Clearing a preview or uninstalling this extension does not remove a copy already saved by the website. The helper includes no advertising or analytics. Its access is limited to the KU Banner host and the configured KU Planner website. You can cancel a connection or remove its site permission at any time. REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITS You need access to your own KU Banner account. KU controls sign-in, MFA and availability. The helper cannot reuse a login from another browser or profile. Private/incognito windows are not supported. A failed read does not become an empty schedule or a partial import. This helper reads schedule information. It does not add or drop classes, register you for a course, import grades, or decide registration eligibility. Banner may update its selected semester while responding to a schedule request. Keep registration changes paused during a read. KU Planner is an independent student project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Khalifa University or Ellucian.
