K'TrackTime is an automatic website time tracker that helps you understand where your browser time goes. It records time by website, organizes activity into useful AI categories, and turns your day into clear reports and productivity insights. There is no timer to start and no account to create. To categorize a page, K'TrackTime sends its hosted classification API a sanitized HTTP or HTTPS URL. For qualifying public articles only, it may also send a bounded title, description, approved topic metadata, and up to 2,000 characters of public article text. It does not send cookies, form values, passwords, browser credentials, private messages, comments, or full-page copies. Install K'TrackTime and browse normally. 2. The extension records time for the active supported page. 3. The KTrackTime API assigns a category to help organize the activity. 4. Open the extension to review today's time, sites, categories, and hourly patterns. 5. Correct any category from the popup; your choice is reused for matching activity. Privacy and control Time entries, reports, settings, ignore rules, and category corrections are stored locally in your browser. Successful classification requests and responses are also cached locally to avoid sending unchanged page context repeatedly. Ordinary classification uses submitted page text transiently and does not retain that text in the classification cache. The service retains the sanitized URL, a content hash, the category result, confidence scores, and model information. If you correct an API category, K'TrackTime sends feedback without the installation identifier; that feedback contains the original sanitized classification input, API response, and selected category and is stored to improve classification quality. All API requests use HTTPS and omit browser credentials. K'TrackTime does not sell browsing data, use it for advertising, or use it for credit or lending decisions. Frequently asked questions Does K'TrackTime track time automatically? Yes. It records supported browsing activity automatically and can pause when Chrome reports that the device is idle. You can also pause it manually or for a selected duration. Where is my time-tracking history stored? Your time entries, reports, settings, ignore list, and category corrections stay in the extension's local browser storage until you reset the data or uninstall the extension. Can I change an AI category? Yes. Choose another category from the popup. The local override is applied to matching activity, and classification feedback may be sent without the installation identifier to improve future results. What is sent for AI categorization? A sanitized URL is sent for supported pages. Bounded descriptive text is sent only for qualifying public articles. Private and interactive content is excluded, and recognized personal identifiers and secrets are redacted.
