Krisox is a browser extension that compresses images and PDFs right inside the upload forms you already use: job portals, email, cloud drives, government sites, anywhere with an upload button. Choose a file the way you always do, and Krisox shows how small it can get before it's sent. YOUR FILES NEVER LEAVE YOUR DEVICE Compression happens in your browser tab. Krisox has no servers that see your files, makes no uploads of its own, and works the same offline. Your file goes to the site you chose, and nowhere else. HOW IT WORKS • Pick or drop a file on any site. • Krisox shows the size at Extreme, Recommended and Light, so you can choose before anything uploads. • Click Upload compressed, or Upload original to send the file untouched. WHAT IT DOES • JPG, PNG and WebP images: resized and re-encoded with sizes shown before you choose. • iPhone HEIC photos: converted to JPG or PNG for sites that can't open them (Pro). • PDFs: images inside are recompressed, duplicate data removed, and hidden editing copies from Adobe Illustrator stripped when you ask for it. • Metadata like camera location (GPS) is removed from compressed images. • Sites that only accept certain formats (say, PNG only) get the format they require. • Download the compressed file instead of uploading it, if you just want a smaller copy. • Turn Krisox off for any site with one click.
