Web2Book — Reader Mode
Overview
Turn articles into a clean, customizable reader view. No account or remote text processing required.
Web2Book turns an article or selected passage into a readable view in your current tab. Open a text-rich page and click the Web2Book icon. After the one-time privacy choice, you can read the available text, links, and images without the surrounding page layout. Use Original page to return. READ YOUR WAY • Choose light, sepia, or dark. • Adjust typeface, text size, reading width, and line spacing. • Show or hide article images. • Follow your reading progress and return to the original page. • Select at least 80 characters before opening Web2Book to read a specific passage. • Print the reader view with Chrome’s normal print command. HOW YOUR DATA IS HANDLED When you use Web2Book, it reads the current page’s URL, title, and article or selected content to create the reader. Content is processed on your device and kept temporarily in browser-session memory; reading preferences are stored locally. The extension has no account, analytics, or remote article-processing service. When images are enabled, your browser may request HTTPS images from their original sites or image hosts, which can receive your IP address and the image URL. You can turn images off in Appearance. GOOD TO KNOW Web2Book works best with articles and other text-heavy pages. Some websites, images, or formatting may not be extracted completely. Chrome-protected pages, PDFs in Chrome’s viewer, and some interactive or restricted sites may not work. Web2Book does not bypass access restrictions, create EPUB files, or save a permanent offline reading library. Questions or feedback? Email hello@myar.space
