Overview
Capture a signed-in site session from your own browser and hand it back to Kove.
Kove Connect lets you connect a site you're already signed into — in your own browser — to your Kove account, so Kove can act for you on that site. Instead of re-typing your password into a remote browser you don't control, you sign in the way you always do (Google, password, SSO — anything), and Kove Connect hands your existing session to the Kove web app. How it works: 1. Start a capture from Kove for a site you want to connect. 2. The extension opens that site's login page in a new tab. You sign in normally. 3. Once you're signed in, the extension captures the session for that site — in that tab only — and returns it to the Kove web app page that asked for it. Your session stays yours: • It's treated as a password-class secret: sent only to your Kove web app over HTTPS, encrypted at rest, and never written to logs. • The extension reads only the sites you explicitly choose to connect, and only on a capture you start — never passively or in the background. • It never reads your password, and it never holds your Kove login or token.
