Organize GitHub repositories into nested groups on your profile, org and teams. Share them with your org or keep a private view.

What it does • Nested groups and subgroups, with logos, descriptions and repository counts, right inside github.com. • Opens grouped by default on github.com/orgs/<org>/repositories, with a one-click switch back to GitHub's native list. • Shared with the whole org: the structure is stored as a versioned file, repo-groups.yml, in your organization's own .github repository. No server, no database, no account with us. • Rule-based placement: write a rule like dags-* or topic:kubernetes, and new repositories file themselves. • AI round-trip: copy your repositories plus a ready-made prompt into any AI assistant, paste its answer back, review the diff, and commit. • Group field on "Create a new repository", so a new repo lands in the right group from the start. • Teams: tag groups with GitHub teams. The extension shows which repositories a team lacks access to and can grant it in one click. It only adds or raises access, never removes it. • My groups: a personal layer, synced through your browser account, for organizing only the repositories you care about without changing the shared structure. • Built for large orgs: a local index with incremental refresh, so it renders instantly after the first visit. • Works for regular members. You see and organize only repositories you can already access. If you cannot edit the shared file, you can organize in My groups or suggest a change through GitHub's own "Propose changes" flow. • Matches GitHub's light, dark and dimmed themes.
