KOLEX Web Importer helps you collect, annotate, and save web content directly to your KOLEX library. Instead of downloading files manually, switching between apps, or reorganizing files later, you can collect references into KOLEX in just a few clicks right from Chrome. The extension is designed for research, moodboarding, asset gathering, reference archiving, highlighting key information, and capturing visual web content. Save Links to KOLEX - Save the URL and title of the active tab to your KOLEX library. - Record source details, domain name, and timestamp for effortless retrieval later. - Support saving online video links as playable video items rather than generic shortcuts. - Imported content is saved directly to the "All" section in KOLEX. Save Images from Websites - Drag any image on a webpage to trigger the KOLEX quick-import overlay right on the page. - Select a specific folder in your KOLEX library or import directly to "All". - Automatically captures the image URL, source page, page title, alt text, and original dimensions when available. - Downloading and file management are handled directly by the local KOLEX app on your device. Capture a Selected Area - Open the Capture overlay and drag to define the exact area you want to capture. - Move the selected frame freely across the screen without changing its size. - Drag the corner handles to resize the capture frame. - Automatically remembers your last selection and restores it proportionally to the viewport during your next session. - The output image contains only the selected area and is imported directly to KOLEX. Capture Visible Area - The Full Screen capture feature grabs only what is currently visible in your browser viewport. - Does not auto-scroll or capture off-screen content. - Captured images are imported directly into the "All" section in KOLEX. Capture Entire Webpage - The Capture Fullpage feature automatically scrolls through the page, captures each section, and stitches them into a single seamless image. - Your original scroll position is automatically restored once the capture is complete. - Supports dynamically loaded content as you scroll, within the website's compatibility limits. - The full-page screenshot is sent directly to KOLEX without cluttering your local Downloads folder. Screen Recording - Select a target area and click Start Record. - Chrome will always prompt a standard screen-share permission dialog before recording begins. - Only the content within the selected frame is captured in the final video. - Interact normally with the webpage (click, scroll, and type) while recording is in progress. - Full control to pause, resume, restart, or cancel your recording at any time. - Once completed, the WebM video is imported directly to KOLEX without downloading to your local disk. Add Annotations Before Saving The Annotation mode allows you to mark up and highlight key details directly on your selected capture area before sending it to KOLEX.
