Endpoint media owner for NICE CXone WebRTC redirection on ChromeOS

NICE CXone Receiver brings softphone audio to the Chromebook when CXone Agent runs in a hosted (VDI) browser session. Instead of sending microphone and speaker traffic through the virtual desktop, this extension owns media on the physical device. Agents pair once with a short invitation code; later calls reuse that pairing. Status, device pickers, and diagnostics live in the toolbar popup. Use this extension when: • Agents work on enterprise-managed ChromeOS • CXone Agent is hosted in Citrix, Omnissa, or another VDI browser session • Your organization deploys NICE WebRTC Redirection with the matchmaking service Do not install this extension if CXone Agent already runs natively in Chrome on the Chromebook—on-device WebRTC already uses local audio. Requires a matching NICE CXone browser extension in the hosted session (configured for the Receiver path) and network access to the NICE matchmaking service and CXone media endpoints. Microphone access must be allowed for this extension (enterprise policy recommended). For IT: deploy via Google Admin force-install.
