Save whole web pages as PDF, one tab or many at once.

Seitenabzug photographs a page the way you see it and builds one long PDF from those pictures: no paper format, no reflow, no missing background. Over the pictures lies an invisible text layer with the page's own text and its links, so Ctrl+F, copy and click still work. It handles what a page does to itself: it walks the page so lazy images load, it follows pages that keep growing, it stops galleries that run by themselves, it photographs every view of a slider, and it captures pages that scroll inside a box or with a smooth-scroll library rather than in the window. What you can ask for: - One tab, or every tab of the window. - Expand everything first: accordions, tabs and menus are opened before the picture, and a menu that opens over the page gets a page of its own. - Whole website: every page of the site into one document, with a bookmark each, or a file per page. Say which parts you mean: take only these sections or leave them out, by name or by whole address, leave out a whole website and its tabs, take the subdomains along, and every language version or just this one. - A list of every address that stands on the captured pages. - A list of the windows the capture hid, so a page without its window is not taken for the state of the site. - The run's log as a PDF, which is what to send along if something looks wrong. Every option explains itself when you point at it. Two things to know before you install: the window has to stay visible while a run goes on, because the browser only hands out pictures of what is on screen. And when a site asks to be let through (a bot check), the run stops and calls you instead of photographing the locked door; it carries on with the other tabs meanwhile and comes back at the end.
