Share selected text as a private, expiring, single-read DestroyNote link.

Turn selected text into an expiring, single-read link with DestroyNote. Select text on a web page, right-click and choose Share with DestroyNote, or use the toolbar button to write a message. No DestroyNote account is required. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Share selected text from the context menu: the note allows one successful opening and expires after 24 hours. • Write or paste a message from the toolbar and choose an expiration of 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days. • Add an optional password in the composer. • Copy the recipient link and keep a separate private management link. • Use that private link on the DestroyNote website to check the note's status, revoke an unread note or read an available temporary reply. • Use the extension in English or Italian. HOW IT WORKS 1. Select text and choose Share with DestroyNote, or click the extension button to open the composer. 2. For a composed message, choose the expiration and optional password, then select Create link. 3. Share the recipient link. Keep the private management link for yourself. PRIVACY AND LIMITS The selected or entered message, optional password, expiration and a random sender identifier are sent over HTTPS to destroynote.com after your action. The extension does not send the source page's address, read your browsing history, monitor your typing or load third-party analytics. Drafts and link receipts are kept in temporary extension session memory for up to 15 minutes and removed when their tab closes. Save the links you need before closing the tab. A separate random identifier stays in extension local storage for sender blocking; it is not synchronized and changes when the extension's data is cleared or the extension is reinstalled. DestroyNote is not end-to-end encrypted and does not guarantee anonymity. The server can process note content; authorized administrative access is described in the privacy policy. One successful opening removes a single-read note's text from active storage. Expiration prevents access but does not guarantee immediate erasure from storage or backups. A recipient can keep a copy. The extension needs an internet connection and the DestroyNote service. Website features such as files and video are separate from the extension's text composer.
