Your bookmarks should follow you—not lock you into one browser. Relay keeps bookmarks and folders current across Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, and other supported Chromium browsers. It encrypts bookmark titles, URLs, folders, profiles, and restore history on your device before upload. Relay stores an encrypted vault—not a readable bookmark library. When a compatible passkey is available, your browser or passkey provider handles verification. Relay never receives your fingerprint, face scan, or device PIN. Password sign-in remains available whether or not you add a passkey. Your password unlocks the vault locally and is never sent to Relay. Whether a passkey is available on another browser or device depends on your browser, operating system, and passkey provider. RECOVERY YOU CONTROL Relay creates a private Recovery Kit that remains your fallback if your passkeys are unavailable. You can save or send a private recovery link through your device’s share sheet, or copy it locally when sharing is unavailable. The recovery secret stays in the protected fragment of the link. Relay’s servers never receive that secret, its destination, or the accompanying message. Relay cannot recreate a lost Recovery Kit. SHARE ONLY WHEN YOU CHOOSE Create an encrypted Context Capsule to share a bookmark collection with an optional expiry, import limit, and revocation control. Recipients can preview the collection and download a standard bookmark file without creating an account. Approved contacts can also keep an encrypted profile synchronized. Relay stores the encrypted shared profile and a recipient-protected collection key, but cannot unwrap that key or read the shared bookmarks. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • Relay does not require a legal name or email address • Bookmarks are encrypted on your device before upload • No advertising, tracking pixels, browsing surveillance, or cross-site tracking • No content scripts or access to arbitrary websites • Individual passkeys can be revoked without affecting other passkeys • Account and encrypted cloud-vault deletion are available inside Relay • Deleting Relay cloud data leaves local browser bookmarks untouched Relay stores the chosen username and limited account metadata needed for product operation, sharing, support, abuse prevention, and reliability.
