Overview
FakeParrot: an agent works in your browser while you watch; demos become skills; screen recordings become share links.
FakeParrot puts your company's AI agent in a Chrome side panel, working in your own browser while you watch. 1. Agent sessions. Give the agent a goal and the sites it may touch, then watch it work in your tabs — it narrates what it is doing, you can steer it mid-run by typing, and it stops to ask when unsure. Sensitive steps show an approve/deny gate, and a stop button always wins. Nothing runs while the panel is closed. 2. Demo → skill. Do a task once while the recorder watches; FakeParrot writes down what you did and drafts a skill so an agent can do it next time. 3. Screen recording (macOS only). Record a window or screen with a circular self-view and optional mic; the recording lands in your private FakeParrot folder, and finishing it opens a tab on its share link, ready to send. The capture itself is done by the separate FakeParrot desktop app for macOS, which you install once and the extension connects to — this feature does nothing without it. Requires a FakeParrot account (sign-in via OAuth — the extension never sees your password). Site access is part of installing FakeParrot; you can narrow it at any time from Chrome's own site-access control on the extension.
