Overview

Free, open source, no account. SEO score, on-page insights, AI-copy & vibe-code checks, social previews, localhost vs live diffs.

Scorly is an in-depth SEO auditor and Open Graph preview tool for developers, marketers, and SEO specialists. Open any page - live, staging, or localhost - and get a detailed breakdown of its SEO, performance, content, accessibility, technical setup, and social sharing metadata, entirely in your browser. What Scorly checks: - SEO score and breakdown: Get an overall score from 0-100, broken down into 9 categories - Technical, Content, Performance, Schema, Security, Mobile, Accessibility, AI Visibility, and E-E-A-T. Each category includes a detailed checklist showing what passed, what needs attention, and what failed, with the reason for each. - Detailed page analysis: Explore meta tags, readability and keyword statistics, heading structure, internal and external links, image alt text, JSON-LD schema, technology signals, performance data such as TTFB, request count and transfer size, security checks including HTTPS, mixed content, and security headers, and accessibility checks such as colour contrast, form labels, and landmarks. - AI visibility insights: See how visible a page is to AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini, broken down into crawler access, machine-readable structure, trust signals, and freshness. Scorly also flags copy that reads as unedited AI output and common faults of generated sites. These are heuristics computed from the page itself: no AI model is used and nothing is uploaded. - Page comparison: Compare any two pages, whether live, staging, or localhost, with a word-by-word diff of metadata, headings, page content, links, and image alt text. Filter to changes and export the comparison as PDF, CSV, JSON, or Markdown. - Social share previews: See how your page is likely to appear when shared on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and Discord. If Open Graph tags are missing, Scorly generates a fallback preview based on the page content. - Localhost support: Analyse local and private-network URLs without treating the lack of HTTPS as a failure. Localhost pages are clearly marked so you can distinguish them from production sites. - AI coding agents (optional, off by default): Scorly also has a free, open source companion tool that lets AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and VS Code run Scorly audits, fix what they find in your code, and re-audit to confirm the improvement. The companion tool is a local MCP server that runs on your own computer; it is installed separately, and setup instructions are on the extension's AI agents page. If you turn on "Let AI agents use Scorly", audits can run in this browser, so pages you are signed in to can be audited. The extension then connects only to that tool on your own computer (127.0.0.1), and there is no Scorly server, account, or API key. A Stop button in the popup ends the connection at any time. - Runs entirely in your browser: No accounts, subscriptions, tracking, or remote analysis. Scorly runs when you open it, or, only if you turn on AI agent access, when an agent on your own computer asks it to audit a page. Network requests are limited to the site being inspected, such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and the favicon, plus that local connection when agent access is on. - Offline exports: Export the full analysis as PDF, CSV, JSON, or Markdown, or open a full-page report. Reports are generated locally in your browser. Scorly is free and open source, with no account or subscription required.
