Free to install, with no extension subscription. Reader view works without a key. Speech, summaries and translation require your own OpenRouter account and API key. OpenRouter gives you access to hundreds of AI models with one key and charges according to usage. Optional audio timing for sentence highlighting sends generated audio to OpenRouter and may add charges. You can turn it off in Reading settings. Text is sent to OpenRouter when you start an AI feature. Your key is stored encrypted in Chrome.
