AdConcealer
Overview
Conceals ads with overlays matched to the page background instead of blocking them — clean pages without breaking sites.
AdConcealer doesn't "block" ads. Instead, it covers ad regions with an overlay matched to the surrounding background color, so they quietly disappear from view. Like a concealer over a blemish, it cleans up the page without breaking it. Why cover instead of block? Forcibly removing ads can collapse layouts, leave empty boxes, or trigger "please disable your ad blocker" walls. AdConcealer leaves the ad in place and simply hides it visually, so sites keep working and your screen stays clean. ■ Features • Background-matched overlays — the ad's old spot blends into its surroundings • Doesn't break sites — ads aren't removed, so layouts stay intact • Respects first-party search ads — portal search ads show by default; an optional session-only "more natural" mode hides them all at once • Daily cover count — see how much you've concealed, right in the popup • Filter list that auto-updates weekly • Per-site exceptions (a "no-makeup zone") • Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified & Traditional) ■ Privacy We collect no data. No trackers, no analytics, no external servers — every setting is stored only on your device. ■ Filter list credits Ad detection uses public filter lists including EasyList, YousList, and List-KR. Each list remains the copyright of its original authors.
