TabTether
Overview
Tether tabs as persistent activities that sync across Firefox and Chromium browsers.
TabTether keeps selected tabs as persistent activities. A tethered tab keeps one identity while its URL changes, so you can resume the latest location on another browser without syncing every open tab. What you can do • Tether a tab from the popup or context menu • Resume an activity and take ownership on this device • Organize with groups, tags, archive, and history • Work fully offline with a local IndexedDB cache Optional sync • Cloud database: sync through your own Turso, self-hosted libSQL, or Cloudflare D1 Worker • LAN: sync with paired nearby browsers over WebRTC • No TabTether account Privacy Only tabs you explicitly tether are stored. Local mode sends nothing. Cloud and LAN stay opt-in and only talk to endpoints or peers you choose.
