Overview
Copy any web page, or part of one, and paste it into Kite as layers you can change.
Kite is a design tool your agents work in. Copy for Kite brings any web page into a Kite file as layers you can change: frames, text, pictures and icons, laid out as the browser drew them. Press the Copy for Kite button (or ⌥⇧K, Alt+Shift+K on Windows) and choose the whole page or a section. For a section, point at what you want — ↑ and ↓ take its parent or what is inside, ⇧-click takes several — and click. Then paste (⌘V) in a Kite file at kite.new. It works on pages behind a sign-in and on your own computer: pictures are read in your browser and copied into the file. Charts, canvases and videos come over as pictures of how they looked. Nothing leaves your browser except what you paste: the extension has no account and no server.
